of Everett, passed away surrounded by his family on November 28, 2016. Beloved husband of Josephine (Yetman) Shaw of Everett with whom he shared 69 yrs of marriage. Devoted father of Claire Laidlaw and dear friend Jason Marcus of Everett, Kathleen Logue and husband Bryan of Everett, Doris Borgonzi and husband Alfred of Malden, William Shaw, Jr. and wife Margaret of North Reading, Robert Shaw and wife Mary of Wakefield, Ann Gallant and husband Charles of North Reading,Paul Shaw and wife Ashley Judge of Salem. Dear brother of Theresa Shaw, Robert Shaw and the late Marguerite Darling, Helen Hall, Michael (Jim) Shaw, Walter Shaw and Ann Eagan. Cherished grandfather of Matthew and Mark Laidlaw, Noelle Merchant, Christopher Logue, Michael and David Borgonzi, Julia, Alice, and Robert Shaw, Lauren, Kristyn, Nicole Gallant and Sedona Shaw. Great-grandfather of Anthony, Olivia, and Sam Laidlaw, Gabriella and Marina Merchant, Gianna and Joseph Borgonzi. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral at the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett on Friday, December 2nd at 9:30 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Grace Church, 149 Nichols St., Chelsea/Everett line at 10:30am. Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday from 4-8pm. Internment in Glenwood Cemetery, Everett. Late US Navy WWII Veteran. Bill worked at Touraine Paints in Everett as an accountant for almost 50 yrs. He was also a former President of the Everett Lions Club.
