FLYNN, WILLIAM P.- Retired Air Force Lt. Colonel fighter pilot. Of Salem, NH, formerly of Everett, passed away on December 27, 2014 at 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Irma A. Flynn. Loving father of Patty Sumner and her husband John, Debra Daniels and her husband Larry, Billy Flynn and his wife Christa, Irma Buckley and her husband Brian, Cheryl Wetherbee and her husband Howie, Tim Flynn and his wife Renee, Sean Flynn and his wife Tina. Lovingly known as "Boompa" and "Opa" to 21 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his loving mother Alice "Nana" Flynn, and father "Paddy" Flynn, sister Mary Beckler, brothers James "Jima" Flynn, and Leo Flynn. Affectionately known as "Buffo" to many loving nieces and nephews. A private family funeral with military honors was held on December 30, 2014.
