Walter J. Goscinak, Sr-A longtime Everett resident, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on August 24 ^th , 2021 at the age of 95. Born in Chelsea, he was the beloved husband of Grace (Puopolo) Goscinak. Loving father of Linda DeSesa, Patti Carleton, Walter Goscinak, Jr and his wife Cathy all of Everett, and Robert Goscinak and his wife Karen of Saugus. He is also survived by 9 cherished grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. Dear brother of the late Stella, Chester, Carl, Sophie, Irene, and Edward. A private visitation will be held for the family at the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Friday, August 27 ^th , at 10 am, followed by a private funeral in the funeral home at 11 am. Services will conclude with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Walter was a WWII US Navy veteran. Prior to his retirement, he was union carman and crane operator for the Boston & Maine Railroad for many years.
