MELANSON, Vincent P.- A longtime Chelsea resident passed away at his home on March 30 ^th , 2021, at 76 years. He was the beloved husband of the late Therese M. (Richardson) Melanson. Brother in law of Barbara and Steven Oxley of Lynn. Father of Elizabeth Melanson and her partner Lynn Guerra of Lynn. Stepfather of Joseph Simard and his wife Brittany of New Hampshire. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a graveside service at Glenwood Cemetery, Washington Ave, Everett, on Monday, April 12th,  at 12 Noon. Services will conclude with military detail. Vincent served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and was retired from the carpet installation business after many years of service.
