HOLMES, Valerie A. (Lorgeree)- A lifelong Everett resident passed away at home on April 21, 2014, at 63 years. Beloved daughter of the late Dorothy Lorgeree. Loving fiancée of Hrand Hartoutounian of Everett. Loving mother of Herbert Holmes III and his fiancée Rachel Lippman of Everett. Loving sister of Sandra Perry and her husband Bill of Raymond, NH, John Schiavo and his wife Kathy of Everett, and Nicholas Schiavo and his wife Denise of Rochester, NH. Cherished grandmother of Desiree, Damien, Josef, Jessica, Amanda, and Myarose. Cherished great grandmother of Isaiah. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral at the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Friday, April 25 ^th , at 11 AM. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Interment in Glenwood Cemetery, Everett. Valerie was a 1968 graduate of Everett High School and longtime secretary for AVCO Defense Systems in Everett. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was an avid sports fan, especially our Boston teams.
