Thomas A. Tufts (Tom) – A man that always had a smile and so happy to see you, passed away on October 12th, 2024, at the age of 86. Tom was a devoted husband to Sandra (McDonald) Tufts in which he shared 64 years of marriage. He was a loving father to his five children Tom and his wife Sharon, Kathy Diorio and her husband Richard, the late Michael and his wife Cheryl, Cindy Callahan and her husband Bill, and Stephen and wife his Tracey. Grampy and Great Grampy was a title he held close to his heart. He loved and cherished every minute with them all: Elyse, David, Jessica, Billy, Shannon, Nikki, Jill, Jamie, Alex and Maddie. Great Grampy to Charlie, Benjamin, Connor, Keagan, Robbie and Ryan. He was the son of the late Thomas A and Marion (Hafferty) Tufts, and brother to Bernie and the late William. A brother-in-law and Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Tom served in the National Guard and was a meter reader for the Boston Edison. He was a member of the Malden Lodge of Elks. He loved watching football and hockey and attending all the family gatherings. He was loved and will be missed immensely. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation at the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Friday, October 18th, from 10 am to 12 pm, followed by a funeral in the funeral home at 12 pm. Services will conclude with interment in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
