DOUGLAS, Thomas E.-Of Everett, passed away on July 7, 2013, at 74 years. Beloved husband of Rose M. (Russo) Douglas. Loving father of Jamie Douglas and his wife Michelle, and the late Denise DeSimone. . Cherished and loving grandfather of Nicole Johnson and her husband Craig. Cherished great grandfather of Zachary, Cameran, Kyle, and Brooks. Loving brother of Mary Douglas, Bernard Douglas, and the late Frances Douglas. Loving brother in law of Frank Russo, Pauline Spiegelman, Joanne Johnson and her husband Robert, and the late Geraldine Pelletier. He is also survived by several dear nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Thursday, July 11th, at 9 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, at 10 AM. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Mr. Douglas was a US Army veteran and was retired from Raytheon after many years of service. An avid boater, he was the Past Commodore of Dorchester Yacht Club. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Immaculate Conception Building Fund, 489 Broadway, Everett, MA 02149.
