Obituary

of Everett, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 22, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Armand "Bob" LeFave of Everett, with whom she shared almost 70 years of marriage. Loving daughter of the late Hugo and Julia (Footit) Matsen. Devoted mother of Dick LeFave and wife Linda of CT, Judith Ferrara and husband Ronald of Wakefield and the late Gary LeFave and his surviving wife Judith of Peabody. Dear sister of the late Doris Morrison and husband Edward and the late William Matsen and surviving wife Mildred. Cherished grandmother of 7 and great-grandmother of 11. Dear friend of Al & Kay Hoover for over 64yrs.  Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visiting hours on Sunday from 3-6pm at the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett . A funeral will be held on Monday, February 27th beginning at J.F. Ward Funeral Home at 9:00AM followed by a 10:00AM Funeral Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church, 489 Broadway, Everett. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Shirley embraced everyone with such a kind and loving spirit and she was an inspirational role model of friendship, generosity, compassion and strength. She attended Bunkerhill College and retired as a secretary from NETTCO Corp of Everett. She lived a true love story for almost 74yrs with her dedicated late husband Bob. The family extends a heart-felt thank you to her wonderful physician, Dr. Nadia Kerouz and all of Shirley's devoted caretakers especially Debbie Richardson and Sue Kivekas. Shirley was a member of Catholic Daughters of America.
