LaCORCIA, SHIRLEY A. (DOWNEY)-Of Everett, passed away at home on December 28th, 2012. She was 69. Beloved wife of John A. LaCorcia. Loving mother of John L. LaCorcia and his wife Leigh of Everett, Joanne Warner and her husband Dan of Dracut, Jennifer Cocchi and her husband Ross of Quincy. Loving sister of Monica O'Leary of Hudson, Joseph Downey of Hudson, and Marie Elliott of Saugus. Loving sister in law of Doris Downey of Fitchburg, Paul LaCorcia and his wife Marsha of Wilmington. Cherished grandmother of Derek Smith, Johanna Warner, Daniel Warner, Isabella LaCorcia, Benjamin Warner, and Canon Cocchi. She enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Thursday Jan 3rd, at 9 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett, at 10 AM. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
