Sandra A. (McDonald) Tufts passed away June 4th, 2026, at the age of 87. Sandra was born in Everett, MA on July 20th, 1938, to the late Harry L. and Elizabeth C. McDonald.

Sandra found her calling in nursing, working for over 30 years as an RN, treating all of her patients with compassion and dignity. One of Sandra's greatest pleasures was spending time with her children and later her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sandra was predeceased by her husband Thomas and son Michael. Sandra is survived by her remaining children, Thomas and his wife Sharon, Kathleen Diorio and her husband Richard, Cynthia Callahan and her husband William, Stephen and his wife Tracey, and her daughter in law Cheryl Tufts. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and her sisters, Marilyn Stumpe, Ruth Kowalsky, and Marcia Kavanaugh, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are kindly invited to a visitation on Thursday, June 11th, 2026, from 10 am to 12 pm at JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, MA, followed by a celebration of life service in the funeral home at 12 pm. Services will conclude with interment in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, 185 Lake Street, Peabody, MA.
