CALLAHAN, Ruth K. (O'Brien)- Of Everett, passed away peacefully on November 11th, 2017, at 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Callahan. Loving mother of Brian Callahan and his wife Mary of Middleboro, MA, Lynn Doyle and her husband Robert of Londonderry, NH, Dennis Callahan and his wife Maureen of Stoneham, MA, Lee Callahan of Lynn, MA, John Callahan and his wife Sandra of Wakefield, MA, Timothy Callahan of Miami, FL, Kevin Callahan of Everett, MA, and the late Robert D. Callahan. She is also survived by 14 cherished grandchildren and 7 cherished great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Wednesday, Nov 15th, at 10 am, followed by a Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett, at 11 am. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 pm. Services will conclude with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Ruth was an avid bowler and member of the "Tuesday Morning Housewife's Bowling League" at Charles St. Bowling Alley in Malden. She loved animals and enjoyed baking for her family.
