Plunkett, Robert R. - Born in Everett and a longtime Everett resident, passed away on November 25 ^th , 2020 at 88 years old. Robert was an apprentice at Central Engraving in Chelsea and a bartender at the French Club in Everett and the Saugus Elks. He was also a hairdresser at Mary Joes in Melrose. He was an Elk Member for over 30 years. Robert served in the US Army as a paratrooper and also served in the US Marine Corp during the Korean War.

He was the loving husband of Norma (Alessandrini) Plunkett. Loving son of the late Marlowe and the late Florence Plunkett. Loving father of Debbie A. MacCuish of Lynn, formally of Everett and Robert J. Plunkett of Lynn, formally of Everett. Cherished grandfather of Christopher Rao of Methuen, David Rao of Everett, Jaime Young of Saugus, Robert E. Plunkett of Salem, NH, and Daniel Plunkett of Salem, NH. Cherished great-grandfather of Chad Rao of Methuen, Jared Rao of Methuen, Kameron Young of Saugus, Ryan Young of Saugus, and Lillian Rao of Everett. Loving brother of the late James R. Plunkett of Marstons Mills in Cape Cod and the late Florence Palmer of Peabody. A visitation will be held at the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Wednesday, Dec 2 ^nd at 11 am, followed by funeral in the funeral home at 12 noon. Services will conclude with military donors at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. In Robert's memory, donations may be made to the Chelsea Soldier's Home, 91 Crest Ave, Chelsea, MA 02150
