GERTZ, Robert E. "Bob"-Of Ipswich formerly of Everett, December 7, 2011, at 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Josephine F. (Kelley) Gertz. Loving father of Robert E. Gertz, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Susan Dooley of Chelmsford, Pamela Soucy of Hudson, NH, David Gertz of Everett, Maryjo Roberts of Bellingham, Anne Kane of Stoughton, and Julieanne Williams of Tyngsboro. Loving father in law of Mary Gertz, Kevin Dooley, Mark Roberts, and Dennis Kane. He is also survived by 13 loving grandchildren. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral at the Woodlawn Cemetery Chapel, 302 Elm St., Everett, on Monday, December 12th , at 10 am, followed by interment in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday at the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, from 4-8pm. Bob was a US Army Korean War veteran. He was a professional artist and a member of both Newburyport and Haverhill Art Association. In his memory donations may be made to American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
