Rita A. (Joyce) Diamond passed away on Friday February 15, 2013 at Glen Ridge Nursing Home in Medford after a period of declining health at the age of 88. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Diamond. Born in Brockton MA., Rita was a longtime resident of Everett. She worked for many years as an Executive Secretary to the Vice President of Jordan Marsh Co. She is survived by her loving 5 children; Thomas J. Diamond Jr. of Randolph, Daniel C. Diamond of Delmar, NY., Maire Anne Diamond of Newton, Sean M. Diamond of Everett and Patricia Diamond of Brighton. She was the dear sister of Kathleen Nerbonne of West Hartford, CT. She was also the loving grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of one. A Funeral Mass for Rita will be celebrated on Wednesday February 20th, in the Immaculate Conception Church 487 Broadway, Everett, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4-8pm. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
