SAVAGE, Retired Lt. Charles W.-Of the Everett Police Department and longtime Everett resident, passed away on July 23 ^rd , 2018, at 87 years. Beloved husband of Jean (Lee) Savage. Loving father of Paul Savage and his wife Jeanne of Florida, Linda Fuller and her husband James of Danvers, Debra McIntyre and her husband Bruce of Saugus, Glenn Savage and his wife Robin of Everett, and Gary Savage of Everett. Loving brother of Richard Savage of Arizona and the late Chester, Lester, Harry, Eddie Savage, Mildred Hagerty, Alice Cole, and Christine McGonagle.. He is also survived by 8 Cherished grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson. Mr. Savage was a US Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. He was a longtime Everett Police officer retiring as a lieutenant in 1994. He was a member and PER of the Everett Lodge of Elks and was a former Everett Veteran's Administrator. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Friday, July 27 ^th , at 9 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of The Assumption Church, 670 Washington Ave., Revere, at 10 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with military honors in Glenwood Cemetery, Everett.
