Mercer, Phyllis L. (King) of Ashburnham formerly of Everett passed away February 21st, 2018. Beloved wife of John D. "Jack" Mercer II. Devoted mother of John D. Mercer III, Sharon L. Tufts and the late Karen L. Mercer. Loving daughter of the late William and Gladys (Myles) King. Dear sister of Stanley T. King, Wayne L. King, and the late Eleanor L. and William King Jr. Cherished grandmother of John D. Mercer IV, Elizabeth A. Mercer, and Shannon K. Tufts. Great-grandmother of one. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service in the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett on Sunday, February 25th, 2018 at 1PM. Visiting Hours will be Saturday from 5-8pm. Phyllis was a nurse and an avid knitter of children's sweaters and blankets. She was also a Rainbow girl with the Everett Assembly.
