SKERRY, Peter E.-Of Everett, passed away on December 7, 2014, at 89 years. Beloved husband of the late Catherine T. (O'Brien). Loving father of Kathleen E. D'Angelo and her husband Joseph, Michael P. Skerry and his wife Mary, Stephen P. Skerry, Peter E. Skerry, Jr and his wife Linda, Daniel S. Skerry and his wife Debra, and Margaret A. Haswell and her husband Timothy. Loving brother of the late John Skerry and his surviving wife Dorothy, and the late Thomas Skerry. He is also survived by 15 cherished grandchildren, 9 cherished great grandchildren, and many dear nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway Saturday, Dec 13th, at 9 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett, at 10 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with military honors in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Mr. Skerry was a WWII US Navy veteran and was an Everett Firefighter, serving 32 years prior to his retirement. In his memory, donations may be made to Pope John XXIII High School, 888 Broadway, Everett, MA 02149
