Lifelong resident of Everett passed away January 10, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Margaret A. (McCarron) DeVita. Devoted father of Mary Moore and husband John of ME, Dr. James DeVita and wife Lisa of Methuen and Elizabeth Jones and husband Edward of Walpole. Dear brother of the late Anna Doyle. Cherished grandfather of Bridget, John, Andrew, Alison, Lauren, Alyssa and Craig. Great-grandfather of Christopher. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett on Monday, January 14 ^th at 9am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 660 Washington Ave, Revere at 10 am. Visiting Hours will be held Sunday from 4 to 8pm.
