Nhien
Nguyen
Jan 1, 1932 — Jan 29, 2022
Nhien Nguyen (Lien Bui) was born in 1932 in Kien An, Vietnam.
She fled to South Vietnam in 1954 and settled in Vung Tau when
communism took over North Vietnam. When South Vietnam fell
on April 1975, she became a refugee again. With her family, she
sought asylum in the US. She lived in Revere and the metro area
from the time she came to the US in 1975 until the end of her life
on January 29th, 2022.
She was an amazing, loving, devoted mother and grandmother.
Even though starting her life over twice with nothing and as a
young widower, her indomitable spirit and hard work created a
family environment that enabled her children to succeed in life.
Throughout her life she held fast to her faith in God. She was a
very active member of the Vietnamese Malden Catholic Church
for many years. She attended Mass daily until her physical &
mental conditions rendered her unable to anymore.
She is survived by her 3 children, 9 grandchildren and 5 great-
grandchildren. She is loved dearly and will be greatly missed by
her family, friends and everyone that got to know her. We all love
her very much and know that she is now at peace with the Lord.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral form the
