PEAVEY, Melvin F. "Bud"- A lifelong Everett resident, passed away on March 6, 2015, at 87 years. Beloved husband of the late Miriam (Dodge) Peavey. Loving father of Kenneth F. Peavey and his wife Betty of Peabody, Nancy R. Gallagher of Tewksbury, Susan E. Guess and her husband Mark of Des Moines, IA. He is also survived by 7 cherished grandchildren and 3 cherished great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral at the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Wednesday, March 11 ^th , at 10 AM. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Interment in Glenwood Cemetery, Everett. Bud was a WWII US Navy veteran and was a retired captain on the Everett Fire Department. He was an avid candlepin bowler and a huge sports fan, especially Everett Football.
