Maryann Tennihan (Ferry), 64, of Everett passed away on Thursday, March 14 ^th , 2019, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, after a courageous battle with cancer.  Maryann was born and raised in Peabody, MA, the beloved daughter of the late Francis and Jean Ferry.

Maryann enjoyed taking care of her family, spending quality time with her young granddaughters, knitting, cooking, and shopping. She was a strong, loyal, quick-witted person who was loved by everyone lucky enough to have met her.

Maryann is survived by her beloved husband, James Tennihan Sr., adored sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Pamela Gerardi, Christopher and Kristen Gerardi, and James Tennihan Jr.  Maryann is also survived by her adored sister Cheryl Whittier and husband Stephen, her loving brother Frank Ferry and wife Diana, her dearest friend Rose Ciepiela, many cherished nieces and nephews, and her precious granddaughters, Eva, Avery, and Olivia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral from the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett on Monday, March 18 ^th at 9am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett, at 10 am. Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday, March 17 ^th from 3-7pm.
