Downing, Mary C.-A lifelong Everett resident, passed away on June 14, 2014, at 91 years. Beloved daughter of the late John and Margaret M. (Donahue) Downing. Loving aunt of Emily J. (Mario) Spinucci, Michael J. (Kathleen), Kevin G. (Lori), James J. (Miho) Horkan, Patrice H. (David) Harvey, and the late John J. (Doreen) Downing. Devoted great aunt of Patrick and Grace Downing, Michael and Daniel Spinucci, Taylor and Dylan Horkan and Megan, Eileen, and Kevin Harvey. Loving sister of the late Joan D (James) Horkan and John J (Grace) Downing. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Monday, June 23rd, at 9 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett, at 10 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-6 PM. Interment in St. Mary Cemetery, Needham. Mary was a longtime clerk for the City of Everett prior to her retirement.
