Marta S. Mendez-Of Revere, passed away at the CHA Hospital in Everett on February 24th, 2026, at 48 years. Marta was the beloved wife of Juan Muñoz. Loving mother of Joseph Peraza and Raphael Muñoz. Loving sister of Hector Mendez and Carlos Rodriguez. Loving daughter of Marta J. Rodriguez and the late Hector Raul Mendez Deras. She is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.

Born and raised in El Salvador, she came to the United States in 1993 to live with her family in Somerville. She worked at MIT as an animal technician for over 20 years. Marta really enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved going to concerts. She will be miss by all.
