Marjorie (Braese) Conti's Obituary
Conti, Marjorie (Braese), 87 yrs of age, longtime resident of Everett, passed away on January 11, 2017. Devoted mother of James Conti Jr. of Everett, Carol Stevenson of Everett and Michael E. Conti and wife Kathryn of Andover. Cherished grandmother of Katie & Nicholas Conti of Andover and Marnie Stevenson of Nahant. Marjorie loved embroidery, reading, tending to her plants and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a telephone operator for the New England Telephone Company and after raising her three children, worked at the Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge. She spent many happy hours in her sun room, the special room her son Jimmy had built just for her. She called the room her "little piece of heaven". It was a refuge of solace for her. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Tuesday, January 17 at 9am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, 489 Broadway, Everett at 10 am. Visiting Hours Monday from 4-8pm. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
