Marilyn Susan Godbold, age 71, passed away Sunday April 27th, 2025, in Stevensville, MD. She was born on March 15th, 1954, in Boston, MA, beloved daughter of the late John and Gloria (Maio) Godbold. She is survived by her loving husband, James Yocum; her dear brother, Fred Godbold (Sarah), and her beloved nieces and nephews, John Godbold and Kristin.

Marilyn had an adventurous soul. She loved music, dancing, and traveling. Everyone knew her as the "life of the party". Marilyn could not carry a tune, however that never stopped her from singing and carrying on with her friends and family. She cherished many summers in Edgartown Martha's Vineyard, where she spent quality time with her girlfriends in her younger years. She often traveled abroad to Tuscany, Italy alongside her husband Jim, where the two of them stayed in a beautiful countryside cottage together. Marilyn was a master gardener. She sought great joy tending to her garden-she was known to weed for hours on end. She loved all animals, especially her two pet poodles, Saline and Brulee. Marilyn was a proud volunteer at the Christ Church Soup Group each week. Her outgoing personality will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday May 8th, 2025, 1pm, at Woodlawn Cemetery 312 Elm Street
Everett, MA 02149.
