A longtime Everett resident passed away on February 22 ^nd , 2019 at 78 years old. Beloved wife of the late Edwin Hughes Sr. Devoted mother of Peggie McCann and her husband Dennis, Melissa Hughes and Edwin Hughes Jr all of Everett. Cherished grandmother of Dennis Jr, Peggy and Briana. Great-grandmother of Olivia, Thomas, Christopher, Karlia, Amelia, Cam and Maddy. Dear sister of Annie Lawton and the late William Blackstone. Cherished daughter of the late Wesley and Marguerite (Rainey) Blackstone. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Visiting Hours will be held in the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett on Monday, February 25 ^th from 4-8pm with a prayer service to begin at 7:30pm.
