DeVITA, Margaret A. (McCarron)-A lifelong Everett resident, passed away in the Winchester Hospital on April 20, 2011, at 86 years. Beloved wife of Nicholas L. DeVita. Loving mother of Mary B. Moore of Harpswell, ME, Dr. James N. DeVita of Methuen, and Elizabeth A. Jones of Walpole. Loving sister of the late Mary, John, and Daniel McCarron. She is survived by 7 cherished grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Tuesday, April 26th, at 8 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of The Assumption Church, 660 Washington Ave., Revere, at 9 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Margaret was former clerk for the Malden Court House and a longtime teacher's aide for the Everett Public Schools. She was an avid volunteer for the Irish Immigration Center, and was a member of St. Therese Church and Ladies Sodality.
