Lucilia Amado, known by her family and close friends as "Lushe," of Cambridge, Massachusetts, was called home on August 17, 2023. She was born in Santiago, Cape Verde, to her mother, Maria Eduarda Amado, and father, Jose Santos, on December 15, 1971. She was a loving mother to her sons Allan Correia and Jair Loyer, an adoring grandmother to Kaiden Correria and Alijah Correia, a twin sister to Lucia Amado, a younger sister to Arnaldo Amado, Maria Berry, Benvinda Almeida, Antoni Carvalho, Goly Amado, and Francisca Fonseca. She was also a caring and passionate aunt, cousin, niece, Godmother, and friend. The family of Lucilia extends their deepest gratitude to those who have welcomed Lucilia into their lives and ask you to join in laying her to rest. Family and friends will be received at the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett from 11 am - 1 pm on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. Lucilia will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery. Following the burial, a private memorial service for family and friends will be held in Revere, MA, at the home of her sister Maria Berry.
