McRAE, Louise T. (Nolan)-Of Saugus, and former lifelong Everett resident, passed away on October 15, 2013, at 81 years. Former wife and loving friend of the late Dr. Edward B. McRae. Loving mother of Edward B. McRae, Jr of Saugus, formerly of Everett, Susan E. Regan of Revere, and Ellen L. Pulice and of Merrimack, NH. Loving sister of Mary E. Kelly of Saugus. She is also survived by her cherished "granddogs" Lucy and Cody. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the J.F. Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Saturday, October 19th, at 9 am, followed by a Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett, at 10 am. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4-8pm. Services will conclude with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. A graduate of Whidden Hospital Nursing School, Mrs. McRae was a longtime registered nurse at Spaulding Rehab Hospital. She was a strong woman who overcame adversities in her life while always maintaining a positive outlook. She was a caring, wise, and loving mother to her children. Louise also enjoyed walking with friends, and was an avid card player and dog lover. In her memory donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
