Armstrong, Lena (Cataldo) "Sweetie" -Of Winthrop, formerly of Revere, passed away surrounded by her loving family on June 5 ^th , 2020, at 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Roy Armstrong. Loving sister of the late Carmela DeRosa, Dora Cataldo, Mary Cataldo, Margaret Cataldo, Alice Feudo, Jerry Cataldo, George Cataldo and Donald Sewell. Loving aunt of Judith Kelley and her husband William, Glen DeRosa, Sharon DeRosa, Rhonda DeRosa, and Bryan Feudo. Cherished great aunt of Daniel Kelley and his wife Crystal, Joseph Kelley and his girlfriend Samantha Driver, Nicholas Kelley and his girlfriend Kayla Reiss, Alexander DeRosa and Austin DeRosa. Cherished great great aunt of Declan Kelley. Dear Godmother of Chris Finlay. Beloved cousin of Tommy, Barbara, Steven, and Charolette. Treasured friend of Jean and Danielle Greenberg, Patti and Joe, Bob and Charlotte and the Sewell family, Patti, and Donelle and Liz, the Pace Family, Angela, the Arevalo Family, the Husejinovic Family, and Rose. She is also survived by many dear neighbors. Lena was a graduate of Revere High School Class of 1946 and was employed as a telephone operator, starting with "Ma Bell", for over 45 years. She was a proud active member of the Telephone Pioneers. In accordance with the CDC, MA Dept. of Public Health guidelines and local restrictions on gatherings and congregations due to COVID-19, services will be privately held.
