POTHIER, Joseph "Del"-Of Everett, passed away peacefully at home on June 6, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy M. (Blood) Pothier. Loving father of Gerald and his wife Gloria, William and his wife Laurie, Frances M. Brodeur, and the late James Pothier and his wife Helen. Loving father in law of Linda Marchi. Dear brother of Marion Dowd, Ann Boudrow, the late Martin and Gerald Pothier, Marie Harris, and Elenor Ronan. He is survived by 16 cherished grandchildren, 28 cherished great grandchildren, and 3 cherished great great grandchildren. He is also survived by his beloved friend and faithful caregiver Joseph Favard. A funeral will be held from the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Tuesday, June 11th., at 9 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett, at 10 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 5-8 PM. Services will conclude with military honors and interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Mr. Pothier was a WWII US Air Force veteran and a retired longtime manager for GE.
