Obituary

PAGANO, Joseph J. "Joe" - A lifelong Everett resident, passed away suddenly in his home on January 27, 2017, at the age of 91. Beloved son of the late Antonio and Catherine Pagano. Loving brother of the late Frank Pagano, Anthony Pagano and Concetta Pagano. Cherished uncle of Janice Pagano of Danvers, Frank Pagano of Santa Fe, NM, and Arthur Pagano of Georgia. He is also survived by many grandnieces and grandnephews. In Joe's youth, he played tennis. He liked math and had a fascination with numbers which lead him to a career in accounting. Joe was an avid reader and a day never went by that he did not read the Wall Street Journal from cover to cover. He was always looking for ways to learn new things and took a number of online course covering topics from history to nutrition. Whenever you sat down with him, he was eager to share his latest discovery. We will miss him. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, on Saturday, February 4th at 9 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Glenwood Cemetery, Everett. Donations in Joe's name may be made to the charity of one's choice.
