Joseph Michael DiRusso of Lynn passed away on September 4 ^th , 2018. Devoted father of Joseph (Joey) DiRusso. Former husband of Patricia Burns.  Loving son of the late Dianne (Kalenoski) DiRusso,  Cosmo DiRusso and his wife Margaret. Beloved brother of Dawn Marie Nickerson and husband Kevin of Billerica and Danielle DiRusso of Lowell.  He loved his family, nephews, aunts, uncles, many friends, "The BOYZ", and his dog Zeus.   Joe's first love was to his family but his passion was motorcycle racing.  He competed at many racetracks winning awards and championships, but mostly making lifelong friends. Despite many injuries over the years, Joe continued to race.   Sadly, an unexpected illness overcame his incredible strength.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, MA on Friday, September 14 ^th , 2018 at 12 noon.
