Mr. Jorge A. Barahona- Of Everett, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on February 26th, 2026, at the age of 68. He was the beloved husband of Sonia A. Barahona, with whom he shared over 40 years of marriage, and the loving father of Elizabeth Barahona. Mr. Barahona was the son of the late Felipe Barahona and is survived by his mother, Rosa Avalos, and stepfather, Tomas Avalos. He is also survived by his brother, Luis Barahona, and his wife, Sonia Barahona, as well as his nephews, Luis Barahona Jr. and Edwin Barahona.

Born and raised in El Salvador, Jorge immigrated to the United States in 1980. He retired from the chocolate factory after 30 years of dedicated service as a machine operator. He was a committed member of his church community. Jorge enjoyed spending time with his friends at Dunkin' and cherished traveling with his wife and daughter, Elizabeth. Jorge was a great enthusiast of food and loved to sample various cuisines, with Chinese food being his favorite. Jorge possessed the ability to bring positivity to any circumstance and had a most contagious and vibrant smile and laugh. Jorge has passed away too soon and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, March 3rd, at the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, MA from 10 am to 12 pm, followed by a funeral in the funeral home at 12 pm. Services will conclude with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden
