John J. Curran Jr.'s Obituary
Of Everett passed away on August 9, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Helen D. (Hansen) Curran. Devoted father of Lori Shaw and husband William, BPD of West Roxbury and the late John J. Curran III. Dear brother of Donald "Bucko" Curran of Wakefield and the late Mary Glover. Cherished grandfather of Lauren, John and the late Kerriann. Treasured friend of Bob Summers of Everett. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett on Thursday, August 24th at 9am, Followed by a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home at 10am, Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-8pm. Interment in Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury. John was a US Navy Korean War Veteran and served on the DE-422 Douglas A. Munro. He was also a longstanding retired member of IBEW local 103 .
