In Loving Memory of Jemanesh Gashaw

Jemanesh Gashaw passed away peacefully on June 22, 2026, at the age of 82. She was the devoted wife of the late Alemayehu Negussie, with whom she shared more than 51 beautiful years of marriage filled with love, faith, and cherished memories.

Jemanesh dedicated 33 years of her professional life to the National Bank of Ethiopia, where she worked faithfully as a secretary. In 1998, she moved to the United States, where she held various jobs until her retirement at the end of 2014.

She found great joy in cooking for her family and spending time with family and friends. Jemanesh had a generous and compassionate heart and was always willing to comfort others during times of hardship. Warm, joyful, and kind-hearted, she had a remarkable ability to brighten every room she entered and bring happiness to those around her.

Jemanesh is survived by her two sons, Ameha and Bewket, daughter Sewite and granddaughter Grace. She was deeply loved by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her loving spirit, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family will be remembered always.

She will be greatly missed and forever held in our hearts.
