Jean C. O'Neil – Of Pepperell and Chelmsford, passed away on May 6th, 2025 at 78 years. Born in Malden on December 2nd, 1946, and raised in Everett, she was the loving daughter of the late Thomas O'Neil and Mary (Tingley) O'Neil. Beloved mother of Michael Martel Jr. and his wife Robin, and Rebecca Martel her wife Kim. Loving grandmother "Mama Jean" to Evelyn Martel, Kevin Snow, and Catherine Snow. Loving sister of Patricia Resnick and the late Margaret Mitchell.  Dear aunt of Kelly, Michel, and Jessica. She is remembered and appreciated by relatives beyond her immediate family. Jean was skilled with needle crafts and sewing. She loved Cape Cod, lighthouses, and banana ice cream. She was a member of Chelmsford Women of Today. She studied at Middlesex Community College and was a long-term patient accounts clerk for Tewksbury Sate Hospital, prior to her retirement.  At Jean's request, funeral services were private.
