Obituary

CASEY, Jane M.- Of Everett, passed away on May 29 th , 2015, at 47 years. Beloved daughter of Donald J. Casey and the late Lois R. "Snookie" Casey. Loving sister of Stephen Casey of Boxford, Sean Casey of Billerica, Loni Gustafson of Methuen, Michael Casey of Melrose, Corinne Casey-Montejo of North Reading, and Brian Casey of Burlington. She is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Tuesday, June 2 nd , at 8:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham, at 10 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8 PM. Interment in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody. Jane was a longtime athlete in the Special Olympics competing in many sports including gymnastics, swimming, and figure skating. She was the first person from Everett to compete in the International Special Olympics in St. Paul, MN in 1991 where she won two gold medals and three bronze for gymnastics.
