Burnett, James H. "Jim"- Of North Reading, formerly of Everett, passed away suddenly on October 1, at 95 years. Loving and devoted husband of Rosalind "Rose" C. Burnett (Risteen, formerly Dunn) for 44 years. Loving father of Linda Burnett of Salem, NH, Alan Burnett of Martha's Vineyard. Cherished Step-father of Ed Dunn and his wife Cindy of Wakefield, Father-in-law of Teresa. Beloved grandfather to three grandchildren and two step-grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Service at the J.F. Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett on Sunday, October 5 at 12 PM. Visitation will begin at 11 AM. Jim served in the Merchant Marines during World War II. He was a longtime Mason and had a lifelong passion for rebuilding and flying small airplanes.
