BETTS, George W., Jr.-Of Malden, passed away in Plymouth on August 5, 2013, at 85 years. Beloved husband of Vivian V. (Pratt) Betts. Loving father of Joanne MacDonald, Deborah Delloiacono, Virginia Doherty, George W. Betts III, and the late Marianne and Patricia Betts. Dear brother of John Betts, the late Muriel Rowland, and Robert Betts. He is also survived by 10 cherished grandchildren and 3 cherished great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral at the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Friday, Aug 9th, at 12:30 PM. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with military honors in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Mr. Betts was a US Navy WWII veteran and was a longtime mechanical engineer for the Department of The Navy, prior to his retirement.
