Frederick J. "Gabe" Gabriel's Obituary
GABRIEL, Frederick James "Gabe"-In Brockton and formerly a longtime Everett resident, passed away on November 15, 2014, at 86 years. Beloved son of the late Fred R. Gabriel and the late Mary A. (Hazleton) Gabriel. Loving brother of Beatrice A. Flammia of Wakefield and the late Grace E. Strong. He is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Monday, Nov 24th, at 9 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett, at 10 AM. Interment with military honors will be held at the Mass VA National Cemetery, Bourne. Mr. Gabriel enlisted in the US Army during WWII. After the war, he enlisted in the Merchant Marines serving his country until his retirement. In his memory, donations may be made to the VA Medical Center- Brockton, 940 Belmont St., Brockton, MA 02301.
