AGNETA, Frederick L.-A longtime Everett resident, passed away on September 22nd, 2014, at 83 years. Beloved husband to Jean E. (Mayo) Agneta for 63 years. Loving father of David Agneta and his wife Mary of Westford, Dianne Pechilis and her husband William of Mansfield, and Jacqueline Pounds and her husband Douglas of Goffstown, NH. Loving brother of Mary Colella of Nashua, NH. He is also survived by 7 cherished grandchildren and 1 cherished great granddaughter. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Friday, Sept 26th, at 10 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett, at 11AM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8PM. Interment in Glenwood Cemetery, Everett. Mr. Agneta was a US Army combat veteran who served in the Korean War and received the Bronze Star for valor. Prior to his retirement, Fred was a longtime Chief Court Officer for Malden District Court.
