92, passed away peacefully at his home in Everett MA in which he was born on May 3, 1926 with his loving daughter, Christine, by his side on March 9, 2019. He was predeceased by his cherished wife of 55 years, Joanne Louise (Cincotta). Also predeceased by his Father Edward, his Mother, Esther, his Sister, Ella (Norton), his Brothers Edward, Eugene and Elmer Garbati. He is survived by his beloved daughters Judith Marie and her companion, William Murphy of Everett MA, Donna Lynn of Waterville, ME and Christine Ann of Everett, MA; his devoted grandsons, Evan Daniel and Steven Christopher; and many caring nieces, nephews and friends. Everett was the last Everett from Everett, residing continuously in Everett MA his entire life. He worked as a machinist for Lewis's and Schrafts Candy Factories for almost 40 years. He was a graduate of Essex Agricultural School earning an Associates Degree in Horticulture and Animal Husbandry. Among the things he loved the most was his darling wife Joanne, his three daughters, gardening, bowling, painting and his neighbors. He had a great sense of community and loved to socialize with everyone he met. Everett was a rare individual who felt an unwavering loyalty and appreciation to the city into which he was born. He was proud to be from Everett and often remarked that the city was named after him. Everett was a unique individual with a playful and witty sense of humor. If one had the good fortune to have met him, they would never forget him. The true test of immortality lives on forever in those who shall never forget you...A graveside memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, March 14, 2019.
