Obituary

Murphy, Eleanor L. of Lowell, formerly of North Reading, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday August 17, 2015, at age 71.  Beloved wife of 17 years to Denis Ingham; loving mother of, James Murphy Jr. and his husband Kai Kan of Toronto, Canada, Kevin Murphy of Bradford, MA, and Brian Murphy and his wife Destiny of Fremont, NH; Cherished grandmother of, Branden Murphy, William Mondello, Kara and Kevin Cooper, Shay and Tyler Ingham; sister of the late William James and his wife the late Judy James; aunt of Melissa James and Beth Divine; other family members include Denis and Sandra Ingham, Bill and Carol Mondello, Michael and Kathy Cooper, Joseph, Betty, Paul, Robert, and Colleen Murphy, Jim and Elaine Carter, Mark and Eleanor Gayhart, Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours at the J.F. Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway Everett, MA on Thursday, August 20th, from 5-8 PM.  Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 21st, at 10 AM.  Services will conclude with interment in Glenwood Cemetery, Everett, MA.  Prior to Eleanor's retirement, she was a longtime site manager for the Adult Learning Program at Emmanuel College in Boston, MA.
