Obituary

How in the world do you express how much you will miss someone, words just do not come in a time like this.

Our dear Edward "Eddie" R. Escott, 66, passed away in his sleep last night June 20, 2022. Eddie was such a unique person. Born in Everett Massachusetts on October 8, 1955, he is the son of the late Roland and Velma (Fleming) Escott.

He moved from Boston Massachusetts to the area with his sister Joanne 20 years ago.

He had seven siblings, but Joanne was his caregiver. He stayed with her every weekend and on holidays.

He always told her what he wanted for dinner the next weekend when she dropped him off her Sunday nights

And he let us all know what it was numerous times a day!! Until he went home again.

He moved into our home on Hickory Hill on 11-20-2001. WOW IT SEEMS LIKE IT WAS JUST YESTERDAY

Eddie was a kind and social man who enjoyed the company of others. He did not like crowds of people he did not know

But he loved those who cared for him and those he lived with.  Eddie shared many experiences with his housemates and coworkers.

He loved to sing especially at birthday parties and at Christmas time. He knew so many songs that we did not even know the words to.

Eddie loved Popeye and LUCY. He enjoyed crafts, basketball, trips to Stewarts, picnics, swimming at Joanne's, dancing and

of course, the Red Sox's. He had so many I Love Lucy videos that he watched on a daily basis.

He could communicate his likes and dislikes (what is one little pinch) We will miss him so much but the echoes of his voice

will be here forever, water, water, water, Joanne, Joanne, Joanne, coffee, coffee, coffee, Lucy, Lucy, Lucy

We love you Eddie and will cherish our memories of you forever.

Eddie is survived by his siblings Ann Stuart of Everett, MA; Ronnie Escott of Tewksbury, MA; Joanne Sears of Nelliston, NY; Karen Gillespie of Boxborough, MA; and Margaret Anderson of Seaside, Oregon. Also, by a close friend Cristine "Anna" Jantzen of MA, and by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many cousins.

Besides his parents Eddie is predeceased by his siblings Robert Sears and Gladys Loening.
