Obituary

Donald Cosgrove Blyth, born on June 29, 1939 in Everett and passed away on September 1 st , 2020. He graduated from Everett High in 1949 and from Mass College of Pharmacy in 1959. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Donald worked as a pharmacist at the Chelsea Soldiers Home for 30 years and also worked at other area pharmacies where he mentored many young pharmacists as they began their careers.

Donald was a devoted family man who always worked hard to provide for his family. He is survived by his Beloved wife Doris Anna (Parker) Blyth. His devoted children Debra Ann Blyth-Wilk and her husband Richard Wilk, Dennis Blyth and David Blyth. His cherished granddaughter Victoriya Irene Blyth-Wilk. He is predeceased by his loving parents Milton Aldrich and Mary Francis (Cosgrove) Blyth and his dear brothers Leslie John Blyth and Milton James Blyth.

He enjoyed camping trips with his family, traveling throughout the East Coast. He enjoyed reading novels and the daily newspapers. Donald was an avid fan of the Boston sports teams, particularly the Red Sox and the Bruins.

Visiting hours were held on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 from 9-11:30 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Grace Church, 194 Nichols St, Chelsea at 12 noon. Internment with Military Honors was held in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
