On the morning of February 24th, 2025, Diane (Camarata) Freeman was called home by our Lord, at the age of 81, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born to the late Joseph and Mary (Faugno) Camarata on September 22nd, 1943. She loved nothing more than being around her family and friends, and her generous, fun-loving spirit made everyone feel welcome and loved. Diane also loved her pets which included cats, parakeets, a rabbit and especially her dogs.

Diane leaves behind her husband of almost 40 years, Barry Freeman of Lawrence, her son Jody Camarata and his wife Stephanie of Wakefield, daughter Valerie Mansolilli and her partner Robert and their son Luca of Everett. She also leaves her sisters Marcia Camarata of Everett, Julie Feeley of Chelsea, and her late brother Joseph Camarata formerly of Malden. Diane also leaves nieces Jackie, Christina, and Caitlyn, along with their families whom she loved dearly.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours at the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Thursday, February 27th, from 6-8 pm. Diane's funeral will be held on Friday, February 28th, from the funeral home at 9 am, followed by a Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett, at 10 am.  Services will conclude with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden
