Deborah Ann
Gatta
Aug 26, 1957 — Dec 12, 2023
In Loving Memory of Deborah Ann Gatta
Deborah Ann Gatta, the cherished wife of Robert Anthony Gatta, peacefully entered into eternal rest on December 12, 2023. Born on August 26, 1957, she shared 37 beautiful years of marriage with Robert, whom she wed on October 4, 1986. A devoted mother, she took great joy in raising her son Joseph Ryan Gatta, born on October 9, 1987, and found immense happiness in being a loving grandmother to Zoey Rose Gatta (born October 16, 2011) and Charlie Suzanne Gatta (born April 7, 2022). She is remembered by her 3 remaining siblings, sister Gerry, brothers Jonny and Joe. Throughout her life, she surrounded herself with a multitude of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, and fish.
Debbie's heart was captivated by horses, a passion that led her to volunteer at local farms and ranches, savoring the opportunity to be close to these majestic animals.
Deborah faced illness with unwavering bravery, demonstrating incredible strength throughout several challenging months. Regrettably, her courageous fight reached its end. She is now at peace, reunited with her parents and two brothers, Michael and Ronnie. Although she is no longer physically present, Debbie's memory will forever be cherished in our hearts, and we will miss her every single day.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to [New England Equine Rescue North, Inc.] in memory of Debbie. Contributions can be sent to 2 Ash St, West Newbury, MA 01985, or made by calling (978) 510-1031.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, December 23rd, from 10 am to 12 pm with a service at 12 noon at J F Ward Funeral Home, located at 772 Broadway, Everett, MA 02149. Following the service, friends and family are invited to a funeral collation at Anthony's Malden, 105 Canal St, Malden, MA 02148, from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
