DUNN, Daniel Noel-Of Lynnfield, formerly of Everett, passed away on May 11, 2014, at 98 years. Born in Passage West ,County Cork, Ireland, was the beloved son of the late John and Catherine (Fitzpatrick) Dunn. Beloved husband of 68 years to Mary (Corcoran) Dunn. Loving father of Daniel and Paula Dunn of Durham, NH, John and Mary Dunn of Lynnfield, and the late Patricia Dunn. Cherished grandfather of Caryn Dunn of New Hampshire, Danielle and Jeff Melo of Maine. Cherished great grandfather of Ronin and Liam Keating of New Hampshire. Loving brother of Muriel Hurley and Eileen Zimmerman of Everett, and the late Allen, Frank, J. Kevin Dunn, and Winifred Grace. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Friday, May 16th, at 10 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett, at 11AM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8PM. Interment with military honors in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Mr. Dunn was retired from the Mass State Police; Registry of Motor Vehicles, and Exxon Corp. in Everett. He served in the United States Navy in World War II and was a member of Disabled American Veterans, American Legion, and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was an active volunteer at Pope John and Malden Catholic High Schools.
