Charles "Bud" Pippy of Everett passed away at home at the age of 83 years old. Born in Boston to the late William & Marion (Snook) Pippy, Dooley, he was also brother to the late William & Ernest Pippy. Bud served in the Navy during WWII going in at the young age of 17. After returning from the Navy he married Juanita MacRae and they enjoyed a loving and devoted 63 years together. Bud worked early on at GE and worked for the City of Everett for over 30 years. An ardent Red Sox fan, Bud also enjoyed many winters on the beach in Cape Canaveral, Florida with Juanita and many close and life-long friends. Bud or "Pop" as he was known to his sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, took special pleasure and great pride in sharing the family's accomplishments. He was the dedicated father to John (Jack) and wife Georgia of Raleigh, NC, Mark of Sunapee, NH, Doug and wife Sharon of Melrose, MA, and Glenn and wife Joy of Peabody, MA. Pop was the proud Grandfather of John & Justin, Joshua & Genevieve, Corey & Haley, and Jarred, Andrew & Daniel, and Great-Grandfather to Katelyn, Alexa & Jessa, and Mac & Elle, and Esmay. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours at the J.F. Ward Funeral Home 772 Broadway, Everett, Mon. Oct 24th 4-8 PM with a Funeral service at 9:00AM, Tue. Oct 25th at the funeral home. Interment following at Glenwood Cemetery, Everett. Donations in Buds' memory in lieu of flowers can be made to the Jimmy Fund or charity of choice.
